This article examines the use of structured analytical techniques (SATs) in Intelligence. The study explores the Knowledge Production Methodology of the Brazilian Army’s Intelligence System and highlights categories of SATs that best meet contemporary demands. Based on a questionnaire administered to intelligence professionals, the SATs considered most suitable for use in different situations are analyzed: team work with time availability, individual work with time availability, and individual work with limited time. It is concluded that the appropriate application of the most relevant SATs can improve analytical accuracy and decision-making agility, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of Intelligence analysis.
